Job Description

WE ARE HIRING

Project officer based in Lahore

We are seeking a dedicated Project officer to join our team at Interactive Resource Centre, a civil society organization specializing in art-based development tools for the self-empowerment of marginalized communities within Pakistan. The Project officer will assist in managing advocacy and awareness projects focused on human rights issues, with a particular emphasis on youth, women, and religious minorities.

Disclaimer : This is a full-time office-based job located in Nawab Town, Lahore 

Tasks:

  1. Help the execution of advocacy and awareness projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  2. Prepare timely and comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Assist in the development of grant proposals with the IRC team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as international development, management sciences, social sciences, or human rights.
  2. Experience of at least 1 year in project management, preferably within the development sector (NGOs and think tanks)
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Fluency in English and Urdu, both written and spoken.
  5. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites within Pakistan.

Salary Package: Between 90 to 110k but will vary depending on the skill set and experience of the applicant
