Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Led and managed multiple engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and objectives. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Contribute to the design and engineering phases of the project. Work with a team of engineers and technicians to create detailed project specifications.
- Oversee the construction or implementation phase of the project. Ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, on schedule, and within budget. Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures. Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards. Identify and address any deviations from project specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Prepare regular progress reports for project managers and stakeholders. Document any changes to the project scope or specifications.
- Ensure timely commissioning of the Project and other formalities at the time of project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager in the solar industry
