Job Description

WorkTech is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our energetic team. As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting project milestones and devising strategies for value engineering
• Maintaining project timeframes, budget estimates, and status reports
• Managing project resources, including tools, software, and other necessary resources
• Coordinating project team members, developing schedules, and assigning individual responsibilities
• Conducting daily and weekly meetings
• Leading client handover and technical update calls
• Utilizing project management tools to track performance and schedule adherence
• Conducting risk assessments for projects
• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
• Leading Quality Assurance (QA) activities
• Managing overtime allocation and approvals
• Ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
• Assisting the team in troubleshooting coding challenges

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or Project Management
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven experience in IT Project Management
• PMP certification preferred (if not, you can still apply)
• Experience with agile project management
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of all tech stacks (CMS, React Native, Node JS, React JS, and Laravel)
• Experience with Slack, MS Projects, Trello, Zoho Projects, Asana, or other relevant Project management tools
• Strong leadership skills for managing projects and teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues during project completion
• Strong organization and time management skills to ensure projects are on track and within budget
• Excellent resource planning, multitasking, and task scheduling abilities
