Job Description

As a Project Manager at Kwanso, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project delivery from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include strategizing, planning, and executing project plans tailored to each client’s needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams comprising developers, designers, and stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables. Work closely with the quality assurance team to conduct regular testing and validation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management. Prepare status reports, conduct meetings, and serve as the primary point of contact for project inquiries.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all project elements and ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for project continuity and compliance purposes.
• Implement and facilitate Agile methodologies like Scrum, and  Kanban.
• Utilize Scrum methodologies to facilitate Agile project management, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:  

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven 4-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the software development industryProven experience as a Project Manager in the software industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices
