Job Description
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Karachi
Experience: 4-5 years in highways/roads/motorways construction
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Required Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in highways/roads/motorways construction projects.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and industry best practices.
Core Responsibility Areas:
- Cost Management: Efficiently manage project costs.
- Quantity Take-offs: Conduct accurate quantity take-offs.
- Tendering and Procurement: Oversee the tendering process.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts effectively.
- Cost Reporting: Generate detailed cost reports.
- Value Engineering: Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders.
