OPEN provides a platform for Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals of a city to connect, network, collaborate, mentor, and support each other. Open Karachi is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join their team and contribute to their mission.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Public Relations Volunteer. The Public Relations Volunteer will be responsible for managing press releases, creating and maintaining relationships with media outlets, developing and implementing communication strategies, and carrying out activities that promote the image of OPEN Karachi in the public eye.
Qualifications:
- Press Release writing and management skills
- Public Relations and Media Relations skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic Communications skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
- Previous experience in public relations or communications is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
