One of our clients is Shajar Roads Limited, a prominent Public Limited Company registered under the Companies Ordinance 2017. Shajar Roads Limited has secured the prestigious position of private partner to the Govt. of Punjab for the construction of Sheikhupura-Gujranwala Dual Carriageway under Public-Private Partnership (PP) Mode in liaison with Communication and Works Department of the Govt of the Punjab.

Under this landmark arrangement, Shajar Roads Limited is entrusted with a comprehensive set of responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of the Sheikhupura-Gujranwala Dual Carriageway. From its inception, the company shoulders the critical tasks of Designing, Financing, and Constructing the state-of-the-art road and accompanying infrastructure, ensuring that it adheres to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Purchasing Officer role located in Sheikhupura. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks associated with purchasing processes, purchase orders, and purchase requisitions. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for contract negotiation and making decisions based on sound analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 3-4 years experience in Stores operations or Purchasing
• Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions skills
• Contract Negotiation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proven experience working as a Purchasing Officer or a similar role
