Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team at CodeNinja Inc. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing processes. As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before release.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed manual test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide valuable input on design and functionality.
- Perform exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with product owners and developers to understand system requirements and functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven 2-3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools and version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC.
