Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer sciences, Information System, or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proficient in using various testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
- Experience in testing web services and APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Must have a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Database systems and SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of test management software and Bug Tracking (e.g. JIRA, qTest, Zephyr).
- Prior experience in the e-commerce domain is highly desirable.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Review software requirements, specifications, and documentation to ensure testability and completeness.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers and Dev Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, bugs, and issues.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, security, and compatibility testing.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
