Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team. As a QA Intern at CBS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the fintech industry and develop their skills in quality assurance and software testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases for fintech software applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and document defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and usability.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the QA automation framework.
- Learn and utilize various QA tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Currently in Last semester or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance, particularly in the fintech industry.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to adapt to new challenges quickly.
Monthly Stipend: PKR 20,00
Internship Tenure: 3 months
Job timings: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
