Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting incoming fabric materials, checking for defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from set standards.
- Conducting thorough quality assessments at various stages of production, from raw materials to finished products.
- Identifying and documenting any fabric flaws, color variations, or irregularities in a clear and concise manner.
- Participating in regular quality meetings to discuss findings, suggest improvements, and contribute to process enhancement.
- Observing established quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable outcomes.
- Assisting in the development and refinement of quality control protocols to adapt to evolving fabric trends and customer preferences.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in textiles or quality control are a plus.
- Previous experience in fabric quality checking or a related role within the retail fabric industry is highly advantageous.
