Job Description
Job Purpose
Operation inspection of ETP plant process & lab relevant testing of wastewater as per testing plan & regulatory bodies.
Job Responsibilities
- Looking after sampling and analysis of wastewater.
- Monitoring and controlling wastewater treatment plant via process inspection.
- Updating equipment and chemicals in the analytical laboratory.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing procurement and instrument purchasing.
- Supervising troubleshooting & handling chemicals safely.
- Preparing quality testing plans and SOP’s for wastewater parameters.
- Managing laboratory-related reports and documentation.
- Calibrating equipment.
- Field work on EHS and environmental issues.
- Following approved methods by national & international standards bodies.
Operating Environment:
Independent judgement required.
Internal Environment:
- Working independently and developing standards.
- Exposure to unpleasant elements and occasional use of sampling tools.
External Environment:
- Rare job opportunities currently but the field scope is expanding.
- Background Requirements:
- Preferably MS/Graduation/B.E/BS in Environmental Studies or Applied Chemistry/Chemistry.
- Experience:
- 2 to 4 years in relevant field of ETP process and testing.

- Port Qasim, Karachi.
