Job Description
To reinforce our Quality team, we are looking for a Quality Controller Lab & Process at Ontex. As a Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.
- Act as a “full independent second eye” and gatekeeper for deviation control
- Intervene and make decisions on non-conformities in support of the production team
- Release finished products, ensuring production reports and quality control records align with the quality control plan and all actions are traceable
- Coach the operator team on acceptability criteria and testing at the line, and ensure a training program is available
- Maintain product standards and defect classification list for operators at the line
- Make decisions on blocked stock, investigate issues, make disposition decisions, follow up on re-work, and release reworked products to the market
- Take decisions on raw material deviation control at the production line and gather relevant information to support complaint handling with suppliers
- Sign off on compliance to specifications and quality control actions at the start-up of new production orders
- Follow up on special production runs such as process validation runs and sample request runs
- Ensure implementation of all Quality Control processes in the production lines
- Control deviating products within the plant and make decisions on release with deviations based on Ontex criteria
- Screen and control product batches released to the market according to set requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent through experience) in a technical subject
- Minimum Intermediate level of proficiency
- 3 years of experience in a quality or technical environment preferred
