Job Description
Fida Developers is a leading construction company specializing in the development of high-rise buildings. Committed to delivering excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for high-rise construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to analyze project specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project budgets, tracking costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Evaluate and negotiate contractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct on-site assessments to assess progress, variations, and compliance with contractual specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on project financials, including cost forecasting and risk analysis.
- Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services at optimal prices.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in high-rise construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Proficient in quantity take-off software and cost estimation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
