Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Quantity Surveyor located in Karāchi. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with architects, clients, and contractors to develop and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Working knowledge of construction technology and standards, including building materials, methods, and systems, as well as local regulations and codes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in project management software, including estimating, cost control, and scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and cost estimating software is a plus
- Experience with green building practices and sustainability is a plus
