Job Description
To reinforce our Commercial team, Ontex is looking for a Regional Sales Manager North.
Mission and Key Tasks:
- Lead the regional sales team and ensure that sales objectives across all regions and brands are met.
- Develop market understanding, especially regarding market and customer analysis (size, trends, etc.); competitor product and price mapping; market structure (margins, discounts, etc).
- Develop effective sales strategies through the use of tools (e.g., sales and distribution management software) that produce/analyze data related to sales forecasting and performance.
- Conduct monthly bottom-up sales forecasting by channel and city.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Ensure brand visibility in the trade, in line with the Golden Store program.
- Provide excellent customer service with partners, including translating customer requests into internal adjustments related to product management, logistics, etc.
- Ensure the best-in-class service level for partners via strong demand planning and excellent operations.
- Understand competitor activity in the market and identify/implement steps required to win against the competition.
- Follow competitor pricing and other offers to the trade and consumers and identify/implement measures to counter the competition.
- Coordinate closely with other functions, especially marketing and supply chain, to ensure consistent approaches and optimize investments.
Background and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in FMCG sales/key account management in a similar capacity (experience in hygienic disposables markets would be an advantage).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar management role.
