Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the Regional Sports Manager. In this pivotal role you will drive our athlete outreach Initiative, program execution, and partnership management within the Sindh region.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Athlete Outreach and Engagement
- Register new athletes with complete details, prioritizing female athletes.
- Reactivate and sustain schools in sports programs; expand reach by activating new schools and territories.
- Foster athlete retention by engaging registered athletes in continuous training and competitions.
- 2. Program Management and Sports Execution
- Organize training and competitions following national protocols and the Athlete Development pathway.
- Develop a pool of sports-specific coaches through certifications, training, and compliance with SOP guidelines.
- Monitor athlete performance, encourage unified sports participation, and prepare athletes for high-ability events and regional camps.
- 3. Partnerships Management
- Manage relationships with school principals, sports venues, and potential stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear communication channels between SOP leadership and school management for ongoing training and competition needs.
- 4. Team and Budget Management
- Supervise coaches’ performance, align team workflows with organizational targets, and track sports budgets and inventory.
- Ensure clear, synchronized communication between coaches and the National team.
- 5. Data and Digital Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records in alignment with SOP’s digital and data management protocols.
- Ensure accurate reporting and media quality in collaboration with social media staff, highlighting achievements on SOP platforms.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Strong background as staff or volunteer in sports coaching/management or similar roles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with digital reporting tools and data management systems.
