Company Description
The Lahore Biennale Foundation (LBF) is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting critical sites for experimentation in visual expression and experience. It actively supports art-related projects across Pakistan and hosts the Lahore Biennale every two years. The Foundation encourages research, conversation, and publication related to the arts; collaborative outreach and learning opportunities; and cultural exchange, including facilitating artist residencies.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research and communication in support of art-related projects. The assistant will work closely with other members of the research team to facilitate the work of independent artists across Pakistan. The assistant will be based in Lahore District.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in research and laboratory work
- Data analysis skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Sciences, or a related field
- Experience in the arts, particularly in Pakistan, is a plus
- Fluency in Urdu and English is preferred
