Job Description
Responsible for taking care of assigned patients in the Medical Critical Care Complex. This position requires completing 200 hours per month duties in shifts. You will be responsible for comprehensive ventilator management, including airway assessment, oxygen therapy escalation or de-escalation, intubation when required, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, hourly assessment and charting, blood gas sampling, and interpretation of ventilatory parameters in consultation with a consultant. Experience and credential in passing arterial catheter are required. You will also be involved in airway management, assisting intubation, suction, and ventilator support for patients. Updating daily functions of ventilators, documenting spontaneous breathing trials, and participating in education activities related to airway, suction, intubation, NIV, and ventilator parameters are part of your responsibilities. Ensuring safe transport of critically ill patients requiring ventilatory assistance, both inter-hospital or intra-hospital.
