Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire & Safety Officer at Universal Packaging Company Pvt Ltd located in Landhi Town. The Fire & Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of fire safety measures, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and developing policies and procedures related to occupational safety and health. The Fire & Safety Officer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, and will provide training to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Fire Safety Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene, environmental safety, and industrial fire prevention
- Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire & safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct safety audits, prepare safety reports, and develop safety procedures
- Strong observation and analytical skills
- Experience with safety software programs is preferred
