Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques, targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales. You will find yourself actively involved in meeting potential customers, selling product offerings, and growing your territory.

Things you will be doing for the Business:

  • Develop new markets and accounts by utilizing the current relationships and building new relationships in the food service channel.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
  • Identify market potential to establish new accounts and achieve sales targets.
  • Achieve sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Develop the capability of distributors and the distributor workforce, conduct market training/coaching with regular follow-ups.
  • Screening and hiring of order bookers.
  • Ensure implementation of Annual Operating Plan while achieving the monthly volume targets and looking after the range availability in the market.
  • Activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
  • Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers to provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and cost.
  • Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation and food subsidies when appropriate.
  • FIFO has to be maintained both at the warehouse and in the market.
  • Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results.
  • Communicate trends/pricing issues and other unique issues as they relate to sales.
  • Provide superior customer services to clients.
  • Weekly reporting on all KPIs.

What we are looking for in you?

  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Masters will be preferred.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite.
