As a detail-oriented professional, you’ll spearhead the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring seamless vendor transactions and compliance with tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Streamline the accounts payable workflow for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage withholding tax compliance by ensuring the accurate deduction and deposit of withholding taxes according to local and national regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for bank-related inquiries and issues.
• Reconcile bank statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve bank-related queries effectively.
• Oversee and execute the payment process, including preparing payment schedules, obtaining approvals, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Optimize payment methods and processes for efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain records of payment transactions and bank confirmations.
• Provide financial reports related to Accounts Payable, Withholding Tax, and payment activities to support financial decision-making.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and financial stakeholders, addressing their queries and concerns professionally.
• Negotiate favorable payment terms and discounts with vendors when possible.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
