Job Description
A Senior Backend Developer is a key role in our company, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will collaborate with the frontend development and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing server-side technologies using programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Building and managing databases, optimizing system performance, and ensuring data security.
- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Collaborating with the DevOps team to deploy, monitor, and maintain production environments.
- Writing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, and debugging and resolving technical issues.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in backend development, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a solid understanding of software development principles and best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential.
