Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our portfolio and ERP implementation, cloud services, and license selling business. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Country Head, you will be responsible for crafting and executing business development strategies that align with our company’s objectives and market trends.

Location: Karachi

Business Unit: Jaffer Consulting

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct in-depth market research.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Identify potential clients and target segments.

2. Strategic Partnerships:

  • Establish and maintain partnerships.
  • Collaborate on value propositions and marketing strategies.

3. Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan.
  • Engage with potential clients and close high-value deals.

4. Solution Customization:

  • Collaborate with technical teams.
  • Provide insights for customization and enhancement.

5. Sales Management:

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Implement effective sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts.

6. Team Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

– Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in business development, sales, and solution selling within the portfolio/ERP implementation, cloud services, and software licensing industry.

– Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud services, and technology licensing models.

– Demonstrated experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships.

– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

– Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends and capitalize on opportunities.

– Proven ability to work independently and drive results within a matrixed organizational structure.

– Previous experience in team leadership or mentoring is a plus.

Reporting:

The Senior Business Development Manager will report directly to the Country Head and collaborate closely with the senior management team to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
