Job Description

Rapidev is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Executive to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures, financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Manage payroll and ensure timely payments to vendors
• Utilize ERP for compliance and accounting purposes
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting
• Provide input into department’s goal-setting process
• Prepare financial statements and budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Aid in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP principles
• Liaise with CFO to improve financial procedures

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional accounting experience with a reputed CA firm
• Qualification: CA-Inter or ACCA
• Experience using ERP systems
• Strong ethical behavior and ability to work well in a team
