Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Human Resources Generalist located in Karachi. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for:

  • HR Administration: Managing HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing HR-related technology systems.
  • Compliance: Ensuring the organization is in compliance with all laws and regulations related to employment and labor, including but not limited to, equal employment opportunity, labor laws, and health and safety regulations.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Developing job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and selecting the most qualified candidate for the job.
  • Training and Development: Developing and implementing training programs to improve employee performance and skill set, as well as career development programs to ensure employee retention.
  • Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management programs, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to employees.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Developing and managing compensation and benefit plans to attract and retain employees.
  • Employee Relations: Managing employee relations, including disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and grievances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources or related field is required (MBA preferred)
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant job experience
  • HR Policies management experience
  • Experience managing employee benefits and benefits administration
  • HR Management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with payroll administration and HRIS is a plus
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
