Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager – Technical Accounting to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical accounting guidance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze complex accounting issues and communicate findings to management
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Provide guidance on the potential impact of new accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical accounting
- CPA certification is required
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex accounting issues to non-accounting personnel
