Job Description
- Responsibilities include assisting the Medical Officer in the ER during high workload to ensure timely management of Emergency patients.
- Checks all P1 and P2 patients on duty.
- During shifts, monitors patients in active labor in the Labor Room.
- Conducts ward rounds for admitted patients and updates ante-natal patient status in HIMS.
- Consults Consultants for new problems in admitted patients and documents advice in HMIS.
- Performs scheduled and emergency surgeries, involving consultants in case of complications.
- In acute life-threatening emergencies, consults on-call consultants and informs HOD of any issues.
- Attends departmental meetings, supervises procedures, and performs medical procedures like C/S, ERPOC, placenta removal, EUA.
