Role Description:

The Senior Officer Material Resource Planning (MRP) is responsible for overseeing and managing the MRP process to ensure efficient inventory levels, timely procurement of materials, and seamless production schedules. This role involves collaborating with various departments to analyze demand, monitor inventory levels, and optimize the procurement process.

Job Specifications:

• Use MRP strategies to plan and coordinate materials for production.
• Analyze sales orders and production schedules to determine material requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts.
• Create and maintain production schedules in collaboration with production teams.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may disrupt production schedules.
• Analyze data and generate reports on inventory and production using software.
• Keep the Supply Chain Manager informed of important information.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in material planning and inventory management.
• Familiarity with planning software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of supply chain practices.
