Job Description
The Senior project officer will be responsible for supporting and coordinating various aspects of telecom projects. This role ensures effective communication, documentation, and project management to facilitate the smooth execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Breaks projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assigns tasks to internal teams and assists with schedule management.
- Makes sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
- Analyzes risks and opportunities.
- Monitors project progress and handles any issues that arise for documentation.
- Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Works with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensures standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
2 to 4 Years of project coordination, preferably in telecom tower construction or a related industry.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and safety standards.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
