Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our dynamic team at Dubizzle Labs. As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the server-side logic of our web applications, ensuring their high performance and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side software components
- Collaborating with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Creating efficient APIs for seamless communication between the front and backends
- Identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues
- Ensuring the security and data protection of our software
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) or similar role
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
