Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Engineer at Northern Apex Construction Associates Private Limited located in Gilgit. The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing daily site activities, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and coordinating with architects, construction workers, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects and 2-5 years in construction supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of construction professionals
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints and detect any errors or inconsistencies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software
- Availability to work on-site, including weekends if necessary
