Job Description

The Monk Co is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and drive our social media strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
2. Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
3. Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.
4. Manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms, including content scheduling, community engagement, and responding to inquiries.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and campaigns.
6. Utilize social media advertising to reach target audiences and achieve specific campaign objectives.
7. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media campaigns.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging social media platforms.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
5. Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Familiarity with the software industry and technology-related content is a plus.
