Job Description
At Dubizzle Labs, we are thrilled to expand our Pakistan engineering office, which already consists of 300+ talented individuals. We are seeking colleagues who have a passion for continuous learning, exceptional performance, and knowledge sharing. Our aim is to create an exceptional engineering environment that prioritizes delivering value to our customers. As part of the team, your primary responsibility will be to develop world-class suite products to support our businesses’ rapid growth in 18 countries.
Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product software and databases to ensure optimal performance and functionality will be a key aspect of your role.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Contribute throughout all stages of the development life cycle
- Develop and deploy new features, as needed, to enhance procedures and tools
- Design applications based on specifications
- Write efficient, testable, and well-designed code using best software development practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Maintain, expand, and scale our site
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to daily operations
Essential Skills:
- 1-2 years of software development experience in Laravel, PHP/MySQL
- Understanding of OOP principles, JavaScript, and MVC frameworks
- Proficiency in PHP, MYSQL, JQuery, HTML, and JavaScript
- Experience with creating and consuming third-party APIs is a plus
- Solid understanding of web application workings, including security, session management, and best development practices
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web services development
