Job Description
ibex. Pakistan is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Building, designing, and deploying web-based applications
- Collaborating with managers and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize new requirements
- Involvement in architecture-level design of enterprise applications
- Verifying system functionality, quality, and accuracy
- Reviewing design, analysis and code for quality and standards
- Adhering to high-quality development practices while meeting project/task deadlines
- Attending peer-review meetings to discuss solution designs and related code
- Maintaining relationships with internal teams such as QA, UX, DBA, Reporting & Application Development
- Communicating with the onshore team
- Supporting the deployment of releases
- Ensuring production data is not used for testing or development purposes
- Erasing operational information, custom application accounts, user IDs, and passwords used in testing from the test application system
- Ensuring that the authorized access control mechanisms in operating systems or access control packages are not bypassed
- Maintaining awareness of the progress and status of all work and taking corrective actions as required
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or an Engineering-related discipline
- 2-4 years of professional experience
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, Jquery, Reactjs, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, and other competing technologies
