Job Description
Location: Dawlance Karachi Service Branch
Job Summary:
As a Store Officer at Dawlance Karachi Service Branch, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and organizing the inventory and stock within the branch’s store. This role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, issuance, and proper documentation of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and supplies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Issuance and Distribution:
- Process and fulfill internal requisitions for materials and equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of goods to the relevant departments.
- Coordinate with different departments to understand their stock needs.
Storage and Organization:
- Safely store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper organization.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and other relevant inventory management practices.
- Monitor storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of goods.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions related to stock movements.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and consumption patterns.
- Generate reports for management to support decision-making.
Vendor Management:
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and to resolve any issues.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to optimize procurement costs.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming goods to maintain product standards.
Spare Parts Sales:
- To ensure achievement of parts sales revenue targets.
- Add new parts dealers in the network and promote Dawlance Genuine Parts (DGP) Branding and Product Placement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Office.
