As a Structural BIM Modeler, you will be a crucial member of our engineering team, responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 3D Building Information Models (BIM) focused on structural systems. Working closely with structural engineers and project stakeholders, you will contribute to integrating structural elements seamlessly into project design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain precise 3D BIM models for structural systems based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with structural engineers to implement design changes and enhance structural efficiency.
- Identify and resolve clashes within the structural discipline and coordinate with other disciplines (architecture, MEP) to address interdisciplinary clashes.
- Utilize BIM software, such as Revit, to produce detailed drawings, documents, and schedules related to structural systems.
- Ensure that BIM models comply with established structural standards, industry best practices, and project requirements.
- Assist in creating presentations and visualizations to effectively communicate structural design concepts.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Structural BIM modeling.
- Proficient in BIM software, particularly Revit, specializing in structural modeling.
- Familiarity with structural engineering standards, codes, and protocols related to BIM.
