We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Structural Geologist with expertise in structural geological modeling, focusing on complex fold and thrust belts in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and a PhD in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Geological Modeling: Lead detailed modeling of complex geological structures.
- Structural Balancing & Restoration: Use advanced techniques in kinematics and geomechanics to interpret formations.
- Software Proficiency: Expert in industry-standard software for accurate project outcomes.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate models in broader studies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in structural geology, with a focus on Pakistan. Extensive experience in balancing and restoration, emphasizing kinematics and geomechanics.
- Education: PhD in Structural Geology or related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard software for modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex geological issues.
- Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills for technical information delivery. Ability to work independently and in a team.
