What your typical day will look like
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards of the supply chain team and suppliers using statistical tools e.g., 7QC, Six Sigma, etc.
- Design and improve supply chain and power plant operational reports
- Analyze supply chain processes and highlight bottlenecks
- Develop project plans on MS Project and follow-up for on-time project completion
- Develop new vendors and raw material mixes to reduce cost and assist the team in procurement as and when required
- Negotiate prices, track, and report deliveries of raw materials accordingly
What you need to succeed at this role
- Fresh – up to 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in the power sector
- BS in Statistics/B.E. (Industrial/Mechanical)/ACCA
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience of Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical tools like 7QC Six Sigma SPC, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
