Supply Chain Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Officer with expertise in sourcing from China. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials from Chinese suppliers.
Responsibilities:
1. Source materials, components, and products from suppliers in China, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
2. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
4. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
5. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information.
6. Continuously seek opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in sourcing materials or products from China.
3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
4. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively communicate with Chinese suppliers.
5. Proficiency in MS Office applications and supply chain management software.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
