Job Description

The Support Manager is responsible for monitoring and overseeing Support Services for iTANZ customers as well as internal support services.

This role involves enforcing and ensuring compliance with iTANZ support services framework, monitoring and maintaining SLAs, and acting as a bridge between Senior Management and the Support team. The Support Manager works closely with the Senior Support Manager to provide continuous feedback on ongoing support services.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new and refining existing support processes for both internal and external support services.
  • Continuously improving support processes with a specific focus on automation, creating efficiency, and improving SLAs.

· Develop and maintain service desk and support services guidelines and framework. These should cover all aspects of iTANZ support services.

  • Enforce the implementation of support framework and processes, ensuring compliance by the support team.
  • Implement processes for providing IT system and infrastructure support to internal teams, including project delivery and product development teams.
  • Close coordination with the Senior Support Manager and the Support Team to ensure the smooth execution of support processes.
  • Actively work to identify and address inefficiencies in support processes and operations.

· Provide daily supervision and management of assigned staff, maintain allocated staffing levels including leading recruitment efforts and creating onboarding plans for new or transferred employees.

· Provide mentoring and coaching to other team members. Identify coaching needs and develop training plans for the team.

Managing the queues within the service desk to meet SLAs.
