Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Administrator (Linux) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing Linux-based systems and database clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Administration: Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux servers like Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat for optimal performance and security.
- Database Cluster Management: Set up, configure, and manage database clusters such as MySQL, MariaDB Galera, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka for data redundancy, scalability, and high availability.
- System & Database Monitoring: Monitor system and database performance, security alerts, event logs to ensure integrity and avoid downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and database issues to minimize downtime.
- Cluster Failover & Replication: Manage failover strategies, replication setups, and database scaling for continuity and high availability.
- Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database queries, indexes, configurations for improved performance and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work with DevOps, network engineers, DB admins, and development teams for prod environments, deployments, scaling support.
Technical Skills:
