Role Description
We are seeking a System Engineer for a full-time, on-site role located in Karachi Division. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s systems and devices and ensuring their optimal performance. You will be required to troubleshoot any technical issues, manage a variety of systems, monitor network usage, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and propose customized solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge in Windows servers, Active Directory Services, Group Policy, Exchange Server, and Office 365
- Experience with virtualization, storage, and backup solutions such as VMWare, Hyper-V, SAN, and NAS
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and switches
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, PRTG, and SolarWinds
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
