Job Description
PMCD is looking for a Systems Engineer to manage Data Center systems, providing an opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization.
Education:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Desired Experience/Certifications:
- Minimum 8 years of Linux System Administration experience.
- RHCSA and RHCSE required (preferred).
- Beneficial certifications include VMware (VCTA/VCP/VCAP/VCDX) and DBMS training (MySQL, MariaDB).
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Linux systems and Virtualization.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining OS, applications, and APIs.
- Capable of monitoring systems, creating scripts, and optimizing systems.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Database Management Systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing security policies.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at vendor liaison for issue resolution.
- Quick learner, detail-oriented, and focused on meeting deadlines.
