Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support:
- Provide LAN support, troubleshoot network issues.
- Assist users with software and hardware problems.
- Maintain desktop equipment inventory and manage updates.
- Server Monitoring:
- Monitor virtual machines, application servers.
- Track CPU, storage, memory utilization for optimal performance.
- Perform routine health checks, report anomalies.
- Network Monitoring:
- Utilize NMS for routers, switches, servers.
- Monitor bandwidth, troubleshoot connectivity.
- Ensure WiFi networks are operational.
- Incident Management:
- Respond to system incidents, resolve promptly.
- Document incidents, resolutions in ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
- Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Assist in system, network upgrades planning, execution.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for system reliability.
- Apply security patches, updates to systems, applications.
- User Training and Support:
- Provide end-user training on system usage.
- Create, maintain user guides, documentation.
- ISMS Documentation Records Keeping:
- Maintain, update ISMS documentation.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping per policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1-3 years of system, network support experience.
- Knowledge of server, network monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, customer service skills.
