Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate account records and timely compliance with evolving regulations.
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations, providing clients with up-to-date guidance.
- Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement VAT strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
- Execute VAT Registration, Returns, and Refunds in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in Corporate tax registration and other tax team requirements.
- Interact with clients, address inquiries, and maintain compliance with legislative changes.
- Prepare tax returns, advise on deductions, tax credits, and tax registration thresholds.
- Review and analyze tax returns, calculate taxes owed, and ensure compliance.
- Maintain financial trackers, prepare reports, and ensure up-to-date systems.
Requirements:
- University graduate in Finance and Accounting.
- ACCA/ CA / CPA /CMA qualified or pursuing.
- Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting standards.
- Good understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Proficient in English.
