Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to supervise the operations of manufacturing and filling of Sterile department, so the products are delivered and supplied in full and on time to the patients at the end of our supply chain.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Pharm- D / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-4 years prior experience
- QMS & EHS Training
Key Responsibilities
Production
- To carryout dispensing, manufacturing and filling operations to achieve the production plan on time.
- Maximum utilization of resources for delivery of quality products.
- Labor allocation
- Update production value stream performance management boards as per assigned KPI.
- Ensure the batch documentation right first time.
- To attend daily TAB meeting and provide update.
- To conduct daily line level TAB meeting.
- To conduct GEMBA with purpose
- To manage all consumable inventory and PO of ampoule and eye drops department and to supervise all third party contract services.
GPS
- Effectively implement GPS basics within the Manufacturing and filling operations.
RCA
- Involve in investigations of Manufacturing and filling deviation and ensure root cause is identified
- Implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions within due dates
Training
- Provide training on Manufacturing and filling operation SOPs to non-management staff
- Maintain the training record of Manufacturing and filling operation SOPs to non-management staff
- Ensure trainings are provided before the given deadline
- Completion of training within due date
- Get the training on revised sterile GQMP.
- Record Retention of ampoule eye drops manufacturing.
Change Control
- Involve in origination of change controls related with Manufacturing and filling operations.
- Attend change control meetings and provide valuable information as required.
- Complete the change control actions within due date.
- Ensure closure of change control related with Manufacturing and filling operations.
QMS
- Ensure Manufacturing and filling related SOP in place in use.
- To update Manufacturing and filling SOP revision within due dates.
- To attend GAP sessions on revised GQMP of Manufacturing and filling related operations
Quality Audit
- Conduct the level-1 audit of Manufacturing and filling operation as per schedule.
- Prepare the report of level-1 audit of Manufacturing and filling operations.
- Coordinate the completion of level-1 and leve-2 CAPA actions and ensure their completion within due dates.
- Prepare the CAPA against the identified finding in level 1.
- Completion of Manufacturing and filling CAPA actions within due date identified in level-1 and level-2.
EHS
- Conduct the EHS self-inspection as per schedule.
- Conduct the risk assessment as per schedule.
- Report ZAP for any unsafe act and ensure their proper closure.
- Maintain the record of departmental ZAP.
- Conduct the chemical risk assessment of OHC 3 & 4 compounds.
- To ensure LOTO and Zero Access implementation.
