Job Description
Job Summary: The Technical Spare Specialist – Procurement manages the procurement of technical spare parts for maintenance, repair, and operations. Responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality spare parts.
- Spare Parts Procurement: Source and procure technical spare parts for machinery and equipment.
- Supplier Management: Identify quality suppliers and maintain strong relationships for timely deliveries.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and contracts to save costs while ensuring quality.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for maintenance and repairs, minimizing excess inventory.
- Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure spare parts meet standards.
- Technical Expertise: Understand technical specifications for assessing part quality.
- Collaboration: Work with teams to optimize procurement processes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on procurement activities and inventory.
