Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Spares Specialist to join our Procurement team. As a Technical Spares Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing all technical spares requirements for our organization.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical spare parts needs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality spare parts. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing procurement processes.
To be successful in this position, you must have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You should also possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical spare parts requirements and create procurement plans
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of required spare parts
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical spares needs
- Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
