Inbox Business Technologies, a leading Information Technology and Services company, is seeking a Technical Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, ensuring prompt resolution of technical problems.
As a Technical Support Officer, you will work closely with the clients to troubleshoot technical problems, provide guidance on software and hardware requirements, and handle escalated issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online chat
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Guide customers through software and hardware installation processes
- Provide technical assistance for incoming issues and escalate complex issues to the relevant software development team
- Document technical issues and solutions in the company’s internal software
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure service level agreements are met
Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor of Science (BS or BSc.) Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Required years of experience: 2
- Experience in technical support or customer service
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting and installation processes
